Parent & Child A/B

Ages: 6 months—2 years Introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment. Explores body positions, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatic skills.

Aquatic Conditioning

Age:   6 years and older This class develops endurance and technique in competitive strokes. Must be able to swim 25 yards of all competitive strokes.

School Age Stage 6

Age:   6 years and older Refines stroke technique on all major competitive strokes and encourages swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle.

School Age Stage 5

Age:   6 years and older Introduces breaststroke and butterfly and reinforces water safety through treading water and sidestroke. 

School Age Stage 4

Age:   6 years and older Introduces basic stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke.

School Age Stage 3

Age:   6 years and older Develops intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages.

School Age Stage 2

Age:   6 years and older Encourages forward movement in water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently.

School Age Stage 1

Age:   6 years and older Increases comfort with underwater exploration and introduce basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance.

Preschool Stage 3

Age:    3 years to 5 years Develops intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages.

Preschool Stage 2

Age:    3 years to 5 years Encourages forward movement in water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently.
