For youth entering grades 7-9!
YMCA Middle School Enrichment Camp registration is now open! Programs run July 8th – August 23rd.
Enrichment camps offer campers, entering grades 7-9, a fun and safe environment to stay active, build new friendships, learn skills, and develop new interests. Our welcoming and inclusive environment is ideal for students to develop their independence and build supportive relationships.
Camp runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Campers are expected to remain with camp staff during camp program time. Programs will run from 9-12 and 1-4 with an hour lunch break from 12 pm-1 pm. During breaks, campers may have the option to swim, use the gym or sports complex, explore the outdoors, or engage in other activities around the building with camp staff.
Campers who are 11 years old must be released to an authorized adult at the end of the day. Wrap care is available through the day camp registration for those who may need care after 4:00 pm.
Campers 12 and older are welcome to stay at the Y and use the facility after camp hours. They will not be indirect supervision of camp staff. They are expected to abide by the code of conduct and core values of the YMCA of the Northwoods. Those who are not able to follow the code of conduct may be asked to leave. This can impact their ability to participate in camp.
Snack and Lunch
A morning and afternoon snack will be provided: Campers will need to provide their own nutritious lunch.
Camp Staff
The staff at the YMCA believe in every child, striving to enrich their experiences so each child can reach their full potential.
We strive to maintain a 1:12 ratio between youth leaders and specialists. Staff are CPR/first aid certified, background checked, and trained to work with this age group.

To Enroll:
Gather the following information:
- Emergency contact information
- Any health, allergy, and behavioral support information
- Click the REGISTRATION button below
- The site will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
- You must complete the entire questionnaire
- Click submit and pay the $25 registration fee to be enrolled.
*After June 17th, a $25 convenience fee will be processed for any schedule changes.
*Families must register their camper for the whole week. Partial week or half-day registration is not available.
*Cancellations are required to be in writing at least 2 weeks before the start date of the camp for a full refund.
