Join the YMCA of the Northwoods in celebrating values vital to our community’s future by nominating a teen who is making a difference in the lives of others. The Y Teen Character Award recognizes teens who demonstrate the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Teachers, counselors, coaches, neighbors, family, and friends are just a few examples of individuals who are encouraged to nominate teens to receive a Y Teen Character Award. Please nominate a teen who meets the following criteria or pass this information on to anyone you think would know of a possible nominee. Date: Sunday, April 6th at 5:00 pm at The Pines Event Center.
Teen Character Nomination Criteria:
- Nominees must be between 12 and 18 years of age
- Attending middle/high school or homeschooled during the current school year
- Reside in Oneida, Vilas, Forest, Langlade, or Lincoln Counties

Event Information:
Honorees and nominators will be invited to attend a formal Teen Character Award Banquet to be held in their honor on Sunday evening, April 6, 2025, at the Pines Event Center in Rhinelander. Nominees selected for recognition will be notified by March 7, 2025. All entries are the property of the YMCA of the Northwoods. By participating in the Teen Character Awards, you grant the YMCA of the Northwoods permission to use submitted materials in reasonable media and promotional materials.
