Workout – Complete “Tasks” – Earn Points -Conquer the 100 Grand Challenge

From November 9th to May 31st challenge yourself to earn 100,000 points by working out most days of the week. Earn points by completing “tasks” in any number of exercise areas. Track your progress on the 100 Grand Challenge board in the Wellness Center. Earn 100,000 points by May 31st and earn a t-shirt.

To reach 100,000 points, complete all of the “tasks” in one exercise area, OR complete tasks from multiple areas. Once you finish a task in any exercise area track your points on the Overall Point Tracking Log, and move your pin on the 100 Grand Challenge tracking chart in the Wellness Center. Below you will find printable tracking logs for your overall points and all the Task Area Tracking Logs.

  • Lifting the equivalence of a variety of animals and dinosaurs.

(stationary or outside)

  • Bike from the YMCA to Disney world. Tasks are from city to city

(treadmill, outside, or elliptical, snowshoe)

  • Hike the equivalence of most of the Ice Age Trail. Tasks are different segments of the trail.
  • Row the equivalency of the entire Wisconsin River and the Mississippi River from where the Wisconsin River meets it to Lock and Dam #18m Near Gladstone, IL. Task lengths are from dam to dam and lock to lock.
  • Climb the tallest building in each state, a number of the tallest buildings in the world, and a few mountains.
  • Ski the distances of a number of famous ski races from around the world and some of the local ski trails.

(land or water)

  • Each class will earn you points based on what type of class you attend.

SURF & TURF CHALLENGE

CAN’T DECIDE BETWEEN THE 100 MILE SWIM CHALLENGE AND THE 100 GRAND CHALLENGE? TAKE THE SURF AND TURF CHALLENGE AND DO HALF OF EACH!

From November 9th to May 31st, swim 50 Miles AND earn 50,000 points completing “tasks” in any number of land exercise areas. Complete both by May 31st and earn a t-shirt.

  • Lifting the equivalence of a variety of animals and dinosaurs.
