You Can Make a Difference in Your Community
Share Your Talents with Your Community
At the Y, your time and talent go a long way. Every hour you spend as a Y volunteer translates into the caring attention a child or teen needs to grow up healthy and resilient. It translates into support for families so they can be successful and strong. Into healthier lives for people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes. Into a safer, more viable community that’s a good place to live and work.
If you are interested in ongoing volunteering at the Y, please fill out the volunteer application below:
There are several areas that need volunteers. These are the current areas of need.

Youth Sports Coaching/Managing
- Archery
- Tennis
- Soccer
- Teeball
- Volleyball
- Flag Football
As a nonprofit organization, we depend heavily on volunteer coaches and team managers to assist in teaching youth sports. We will provide all the training needed to make sure every sports season is successful. While previous playing or coaching experience is beneficial, it is not necessary.
Volunteer Committees
- Youth Sports Committee
- Youth Event Task Force Committee
- Hodag Run Committee
- Golf Scramble Committee
- YMCA Teen Character Committe
The Y uses committees to assist with the planning of events and other programs. These are often behind the scenes people that make an event successful. This is a great way to shape an event to make it what you have always dreamed it could be.
