Location:             YMCA Facility – East Winnebago Street, Rhinelander

Hours:                 Part-time, M-F 3:00PM to 5:30PM or M-F 6:30AM to 8:00AM

Rate:                   $8.50-$9.50 (based on qualifications)

Duties: Completed, enrolled in, or willing to enroll in courses to meet the State of Wisconsin Licensing Regulations to instruct school-age children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, sit on the floor without support for up to one hour, walk 2 -3 miles per day, reach, bend, crawl, twist, balance while providing care of elementary school-age children. Must be capable of developing lesson plans.  Must model the YMCA core values. Must be a minimum of 18 years old. CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be provided.

Location:               YMCA Facility or Youth Development Center

Hours:                   Part-time (Primarily evenings but should be flexible for relief daytime and weekend)

Rate:                     $9.00- $9.50 (depending on experience)

Duties: Keeping the YMCA buildings clean and in orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpeting, washing walls and glass, cleaning bathrooms and locker room facilities, removing rubbish, and doing laundry. Must model the YMCA core values.

Rate:                     $9.00- $9.25 (depending on experience)

Education: HS or GED.  Must have strong computer skills and be literate in Word, Excel & Outlook

Duties: Be the welcome face of the YMCA of the Northwoods. Great customer service skills. You must be able to multi-task and work independently. Must model the YMCA core values.

Lead Dance Instructor & Choreographer

Hours:                   Part-time

Rate:                     $10.00- $15.00 (depending on qualifications)

Duties: You will be responsible for creating and teaching original dance routines for YMCA dance instructors and classes, as well as assisting with dance presentations for the community. You will also ensure the consistency of classes and communication across the association as it relates to the dance program. Responsibility will include the training and growth of dance instructors. Prior experience in dance instruction or competitive participation. Must model the YMCA core values.

Hours:                   Part-time

Rate:                     $9.00 Hourly

Requirements: Lifeguard Certification Necessary. CPR and First Aid Certification training provided.

Duties: Lifeguard must monitor swimmers both on the deck and in the water and provide assistance and protection when necessary. Candidates must be 16 years of age, able to demonstrate 300 yards continuous swim using front crawl and breaststroke, tread water for 2 minutes without using arms and able to retrieve a 10lb weight from 7 feet of water. Must model the YMCA core values. If 18 years of age will qualify for training to lifeguard at beachfront.

Requirements: CPR certified, First Aid Certified – but will train

Duties: Duties include teaching swim lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines to individuals of all ages, follow lesson plans and complete progress reports/certificates for participants. Applicants must have a strong swimming background and stamina, demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, and be dependable. Must model the YMCA core values.

Location:               YMCA Facility  – East Winnebago Street, Rhinelander

Hours:                   Part-time – afternoons & evenings (2-8 hours per week)

Rate:                     $8.00- $10.00 (depending on qualifications)

Duties: This position will be teaching a variety of classes in a positive, safe, educational, and fun environment. Working knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheerleading or Dance. Willingness to learn additional areas in the gymnastics department. Ability to teach the development skills and proper techniques. Must be able to lift equipment and spot children. This person must also possess a high level of maturity, enthusiasm, self-direction and model the YMCA core values. CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be provided by the Y.

Location:               YMCA Facility & offsite locations

Hours:                   Part-time (10 hours during the school year, increased summer hours available)

Rate:                     $9.00- $10.00 (depending on qualifications)

Duties: The Youth Sports Supervisor shall be responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective facilitation of the youth sports programs. This includes, but is not limited to officiating games, coaching teams and providing general program support. Staff must conduct themselves in a friendly, helpful and professional manner while they promote and demonstrate the YMCA core values. The ability to communicate with parents and kids in a respectful manner is required. Preferred Requirements: Playing or coaching experience in sports/classes is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals. CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be provided by the Y.
