A program just for girls! Is everything around you changing; your appearance, the way you feel, the things you like and don’t like? The Y is offering girls night out - to help you survive the changes in and all around you! Special thanks to United Way sponsorship. Call Jennifer Sackett at 715-360-5871 for more information.

Looking for somewhere to hang out with your friends? Meet your friends at the YMCA of the Northwoods for dancing, great snacks swimming, playing in the gym, and so much more!

School District of Rhinelander

CHAMPS

The CHAMPS program which is supported by the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant provides children free afterschool programming in a safe and inviting environment. They will have access to academic and enrichment activities. Just be a 4-8 grader enrolled in the School District of Rhinelander.

Central Intermediate School (CIS)

  • 2:53PM School day ends

  • 3:00-3:15PM Check-in/snack

  • 3:15-4:15PM Tutoring & Power Hour

  • 4:20-5:30PM (Mon., Tues., Wed. & Thurs.) Recreational and enrichment programs

  • 4:30-5:30PM (Fri.) Students are transported by bus to the Y for recreational programs.

Students must be picked up from CIS on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and at the Y on Friday by a parent or guardian by 5:30PM. Late bus available for CHAMPS students. Please contact CIS office.

James Williams Middle School (JWMS)

  • 2:58PM School day ends

  • 3:00-3:15PM Check-in/snack

  • 3:15-4:15PM Tutoring & Power Hour

  • 4:20-5:30PM (Mon.,Tues. & Thurs.) Recreational/enrichment programs

  • 4:30-5:30PM (Wed.) Students are transported by bus to the Y for recreational programs.

  • There will not be Afterschool programs on Friday for JWMS.

Students must be picked up from JWMS on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday; and the Y on Wednesday by a parent or guardian by 5:30PM. Late bus available for CHAMPS students. Please contact JWMS office.
