Progressive Youth Archery: 3rd Grade and Up

The Youth Target Archery Classes utilizes the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) archery curriculum. The equipment used is a universal fit so all students are successful, no matter their size or ability level. There is great value learning the life skills of archery. Participants gain confidence, build character and develop self-reliance. Students will be instructed by Certified NASP Basic Archery Instructors. This class meets one day a week.

Competitive Youth Archery: 5th Grade and Up

The competitive program builds on the NASP curriculum to prepare students to compete against themselves and others. This is a great sport for kids of any athletic background to be a part of and gain the physical, mental, and social athletic experience. You do not need to be the fastest, strongest, or most agile person to be a great competitive archer. It is an even playing field for all competitors. All it takes is practice. This class meets twice a week to get more practice time. All Saturday tournaments are optional. The Y does not transport archers to the events and any registration costs for the tournaments must be covered by the archers.
