2009 'Not So Scary' Halloween Trail
Once again our 'Not So Scary' Halloween Trail was a tremondous success. We had over 1000 people attending this FREE event. It was possible by the generous donation of time, talent and treasure by our wonderful members, community and YMCA staff members. A heart felt 'Thank You' to all of you! 2009 Hodag Run/Walk

2009 Teen Character Banquet
The Teen Character Banquet is held every year to recognize outstanding teens in Oneida and Vilas county. These teens lead lives of self-lessness and volunteer their time to their community and those in need. The message that they send to the community is that we all can help to make a life and our community a better place to live. 2008 Hodag Run

2008 Golf Scramble
Do you like to golf? Golf for a cause and raise money for children in our area that need assistance in creating a healthy lifestyle of exercise, nutrition, and positive social skills. 2008 'Not So Scarey' Halloween Trail
Always one of the most anticipated events by the children in our area is our 'Not So Scarey' Halloween Trail. It is set up on the Stoney Pines Trail immedicately behind the YMCA. Area clubs and groups volunteer their time and talent by setting up a 'Not So Scarey site' with a Halloween theme and giving away treats in the form of small gifts, healthy treats or candy. 2008 Father Daughter Dance
At the YMCA of the Northwoods we foster family grown through exercise, activities, and special events. The Father Daughter Dance is one of the special activities offered to families to foster bonding between fathers and daughters. It is proven that with a strong father figure in a young girls life, they are less likely to participate in negative activities that could lead to troubled teen years and more likely to grow up with healthy communication skills and a proactive familiy environment. 2009 Healthy Kids Day
