The YMCA is a non-profit, volunteer driven, community-based organization. The facility is a year-round operation made possible by the year-round members who support it.

Membership Benefits

YMCA Membership Benefits include unlimited facility use including:

Membership Payment
Membership can be paid by monthly Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) via your checking or savings account, with credit card or by paying the full annual rate using cash, check or credit card. Please call the YMCA for membership rates.

Adventure Alley
Drop-in baby-sitting service is offered during designated hours for children 6 weeks through 9 years of age. This is a free service to those with a family membership. Members using babysitting must be present in the building. There is a 2 hour time limit per child per day. Please call or stop in for a schedule.

Membership Cards
All YMCA members age 10 years and older are issued a membership card when they join. You need to present it each time you enter the building for access to the facility. Members without proper identification will not be allowed access to the building. There is a $5 fee to re-issue a card.

Family Locker Rooms
Family locker rooms are for families with young children and individuals with disabilities who need assistance changing. It allows for an opposite-sex assistant to accompany someone in need of help in the locker room.

A.W.A.Y. Program
“Always Welcome at the YMCA.” If you are traveling and wish to use the facility and services at a YMCA in another city, your YMCA membership is valid at over 2,000 YMCA’s nationwide on a short-term basis (a nominal fee may apply).

Day and Week Passes
Day and week passes are available to anyone wanting to use the YMCA. Prices are available at our Welcome Center.

Tours Available
We would like to show you what the YMCA of the Northwoods has to offer you. Tours are available during operational hours.

Financial Assistance
The YMCA believes in providing membership and program services to all who desire to participate in the YMCA. The YMCA’s financial assistance program provides funds for those in need within our available resources. If your Gross Annual Income is less than listed below, you may qualify for financial assistance to participate in programs or membership. If you believe you may qualify for financial assistance, simply call the YMCA at 362-9622 to schedule an appointment.
