Each year the YMCA of the Northwoods offers the community an enjoyable afternoon of golf with all proceeds being donated to the Strong Kids Campaign. Our Strong Kids Campaign provides financial assistance to those who would not otherwise be able to participate in YMCA programs. We accept donations, hole sponsors and major sponsors to help offset the cost of the event. Help us help them!Our gracious host, the Pinewood Golf Course, always goes above and beyond to create a wonderful afternoon of golf and friendship.

Golf Ball Drop
We had a golf ball drop for the first time in 2009 and it went very well. What a sight to see 600 golf balls dropping from a helicopter hovering over the golf course! Participants had a chance to win up to $3,000.
