Employment

Janitor-Housekeeping

Location - YMCA Rhinelander
Hours - Part time (Weekdays and Weekends)
Rate - Hourly $7.50 - $7.75
Duties - Duties to include keeping the YMCA buildings clean and in orderly condition.  Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpeting, washing walls and glass, cleaning bathrooms and locker room facilities, removing rubbish and doing laundry. Must model the YMCA core values.

Childcare Teacher

Location - Children’s Learning Center
Hours - 6:30 am to 5:30 pm / 30 hours per week
Rate - $8.00 - $9.00
Duties - Instruct children infants through preschool in activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth. Completed, enrolled in or willing to enroll in childcare courses to meet the State of Wisconsin Daycare Licensing Regulations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50#, sit on floor without support for up to an hour, walk 2-3 miles per day, reach, bend, crawl, twist, balance while providing custodial care of young children. Must model the YMCA core values.

Swim Instuctor

Location - Rhinelander YMCA
Hours - Part Time (Mornings)
Rate - Hourly $8.00 – 8.50 depending on qualifications
Requirements - CPR certified, First Aid Certified
Duties - Must be able to correctly demonstrate and assess all swim skills, both on deck and in the water and should know the sequence of swimming levels. Must be able to motivate, evaluate and communicate with all ages and abilities. Must model the YMCA core values.

Lifeguard

Location - Rhinelander YMCA
Hours - Part Time (Weekdays and Weekends)
Rate - Hourly $7.55 – 8.00 depending on qualifications
Requirements - Lifeguard Certification Necessary, CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
Duties - Lifeguard must monitor swimmers both on the deck and in the water and provide assistance and protection when necessary. Must model the YMCA core values.

Rhinelander Fitness Coach

Location - Rhinelander YMCA
Hours - Mornings 5:00AM to 10:30AM
Rate - $8.50 - $8.65 per hour
Duties - Wellness Center Fitness Coach will provide orientations to the Wellness Center facility to members and guests, help members build effective fitness programs, ensure proper use and cleanliness of equipment, and work with members using the Coach Approach protocol. A degree or background in recreation, fitness, physical education or related field is highly recommended, along with an understanding of the basics of strength, cardiovascular, flexibility and personal training.  This person must also possess a high level of maturity, enthusiasm, and self-direction and model the YMCA core values.

Eagle River Wellness Coach

Location - YMCA Eagle River
Hours - Part Time Evenings 10-18 hours per week
Rate - $8.50 minimum based on qualifications
Duties Include - Wellness Center Fitness Coach will provide orientations to the Wellness Center facility to members and guests, help members build effective fitness programs, ensure proper use of equipment, and work with members using the Coach Approach protocol. A degree or background in recreation, fitness, physical education or related field is highly recommended, along with an understanding of the basics of strength, cardiovascular, flexibility and personal training.  This person must also possess a high level of maturity, enthusiasm, and self-direction and model the YMCA core values.

Volunteer

Drop-in Babysitting

Location - YMCA Rhinelander and Eagle River Adventure Alley
Duties Include - Must have a desire to work with youth ages 6 weeks to 9 years of age. Must be responsible, a good role model, active, willing to play games, a good leader, and help enforce rules when need be.
Requirements - Must be 13 years of age or older.

Generation Center

Duties Include - Must have a desire to work with teens mainly ages 6th-8th grade. Must be responsible, a good role model, active, willing to play games, a good leader, and help enforce rules when need be.
Requirement - Must be 18 years of age or older.
