A Few Comments From Parents
“Having the afterschool at the YMCA is great. All the different activities that are offered that just could not be made available at the school’s is unbelievable. It also helps with the nightly home routine having swim lessons and swimming available during this time leaves for more family time later.”
“I am immensely proud that our community has such a wonderful facility open to our young people! The kids, and myself, are so relieved to transition to the Y after school. Instead of just walking down the hall to the gym/lunchroom, they get to feel part of something bigger with much more opportunity for space, activities, and on-site programs. I am always met with the “jumping-up-and-down, mommy-mommy, guess what I did!” excitement and energy at the end of the day.... Thank you Y and staff - you enrich, enlighten, protect and support my daughter. There aren’t enough thanks in the world for that gift..."
"The Facility and structure is so much better than when afterschool was at the schools, at the YMCA it is so much more of a happier place for all."
"We love having the afterschool program at the YMCA it is such an enrichment program with diversity verses being at the school. Children need a change after being in school all day."
