ALERT: Please note we will be CLOSED on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. We apologize for any inconvenience and wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day as we honor those who sacrificed.
We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
We’re old enough to know that success starts young so the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. That’s why we’re advocates for helping children through all phases of their development.
Our child care programs teach children essential social skills and values, giving them the foundations they’ll need to flourish. Youth swim lessons build confidence and save lives, while youth sports teach fundamentals and instill in children the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. These programs make for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.
We know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body, and spirit. Well-being and fitness at the Y is so much more than just working out. Beyond fitness facilities, we provide educational programs to promote healthier decisions and offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual and spiritual strength.
At the Y, a supportive community is a big part of wellness. At every age and every level of activity, you’ll find people just like you looking to live a little bit healthier. Members and program participants often cite the support and enthusiasm of fellow participants and staff as some of the key factors in their achievement of greater well-being. It’s about the benefits of living healthier on the inside as well as the outside.
The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our many volunteers as well as public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to the communities we engage.
